GB/T 36073-2018 Data Management Capability Maturity Assessment Model (DCMM) is the first national standard in the field of Data Management in China. The standard divides data management for organizational objects into eight capacity domains (data strategy, data governance, data architecture, data standards, data quality, data security, data application, and data life cycle). Each capability area is divided into two levels (28 capability items) and maturity level (initial level, managed level, robust level, quantitative management level, optimization level).

DCMM evaluation can bring the following benefits to the enterprise: it can deeply understand and discover the status quo and existing problems in data management capacity building of the organization; Find gaps between the organization itself and the industry average; In view of the existing problems, it helps the organization summarize and refine the key findings, improves the awareness of data management within the organization, and provides a theoretical basis for the organization's future data management capacity building.

Basic application conditions for DCMM of the evaluated party:

Level 2: established for one year or more, with revenue of RMB 1 million or more, the number of employees is 50 or more, and the number of employees holding relevant certificates is 2 or more

Level 3: established for 2 years or more, with revenue of 5 million yuan or more, the number of employees is 100 or more, and the number of employees holding industry-related certificates is 2 or more
